P4 Ace Your English Synthesis and Transformation is written based on the latest MOE syllabus. This book provides pupils with intensive practice in combining and transforming sentences. It helps pupils build a strong foundation in grammar and prepares them amply for this section of the English Language examination paper. It also equips them with sentence manipulation skills that will support them in their writing.
The aim of this book is to help pupils perfect their skills at sentence synthesis (the process of combining two or more sentences to form a new sentence) and sentence transformation (the process of changing the form of a sentence). For both processes, there is only a change in the form or structure of two or more sentences. The meanings of the original sentences do not change.
There are 100 practice worksheets, each containing 4 questions. With a total of 400 questions, pupils will be exposed to a wide variety of questions which will give them the confidence to excel in the synthesis and transformation section of the English Language examination paper and achieve an outstanding grade in English.
